Terms and conditions
Updated 5 October 2026.
These terms are the rules for using GigGuide. They also explain what we do, what we don't do and what you can expect from us.
About these terms
GigGuide (gigguide.com.au), also called Gig Guide Australia, is run by Rainbo Feela Pty Ltd (ABN 62 136 867 439). In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Rainbo Feela Pty Ltd, and "you" means anyone who uses GigGuide.
By using GigGuide, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Our privacy policy and cookie policy explain how we handle information and cookies.
What GigGuide does
GigGuide is a free website that lists gigs, shows and other live entertainment in Australia, plus experiences and things to do. We list many events, but not all of them, and we link you to a ticket seller, venue, organiser or booking site.
We don't sell tickets, take payments or run the events and experiences we list. When you buy a ticket or book an experience or a stay, your contract is with the seller, organiser or booking site, on their terms. They handle refunds, exchanges, changes and cancellations, and your consumer rights for the ticket or booking are with them.
Event information
Event details come from ticket sellers, venues and other public sources, and we use automated tools, including AI, to help build and check listings. Details can change at any time, events can be postponed or cancelled, and we may not show a change straight away. Before you buy tickets or travel, check the details with the seller or venue. Travel times on GigGuide are estimates only.
Age limits, dress codes, accessibility and other entry conditions are set by the organiser, venue or experience provider. Check with them if any of these matter to you.
Prices
Sellers set their own prices and can change them at any time. A "From" price is the starting price the seller we link to gave us recently. It may not include booking fees or other charges, and other sellers may charge more or less. The price the seller shows at checkout is the one that applies.
Links and commissions
Many of our ticket, experience and accommodation links earn us a commission when you buy or book through them. This doesn't add to the price you pay. Commission can affect which seller a ticket button links to and the order of some lists, so the seller we link to may not be the only one with tickets or the one with the lowest price.
Music pages also show a box for Bands Australia (Bands Australia Pty Ltd), a booking business in the same group as Rainbo Feela Pty Ltd. Our group may earn from bookings made through it. Bands Australia may not be able to book a particular act you see on GigGuide, and any booking with them is on their terms.

Using GigGuide fairly
Anyone is welcome to browse GigGuide, save gigs and share links. Please don't:
- use GigGuide for anything unlawful
- interfere with how GigGuide works, or try to get around its security
- overload the site, for example with large numbers of automated requests
- copy or collect our listings, descriptions or photos in bulk using bots or other automated tools without our written permission (search engines indexing our pages are fine)
- send us false reports or requests, or pretend to be someone else
We may block or limit access for anyone we reasonably believe is misusing GigGuide in these ways, or when we need to protect the site's security.
Messages and reports you send us
When you use our contact, advertise or Report a problem forms, keep what you send accurate, lawful and free of abuse. Don't include other people's private details, such as their phone number or home address, unless they have agreed, and don't include payment details or other sensitive information. We may use what you tell us to check and correct our listings. The Report a problem form doesn't ask for your name or email, so we can't reply to reports.
Our content and brand
Our descriptions, page design, logo and the GigGuide and Gig Guide Australia names belong to us, or to others who let us use them. Facts about events belong to no one, but our listings as a whole take a lot of work to put together, which is why we ask you not to copy them in bulk.
Photos belong to their owners. Names and logos of artists, venues and other businesses also belong to their owners, and showing them doesn't mean they endorse GigGuide. You're welcome to share links to our pages and to quote small parts of a page with a link back to it. For any other use, ask us first.
Photos and copyright
If you own a photo or other material shown on GigGuide, you can ask us to remove it through our contact form. Include the address of each page where it appears and how you own it, or that you act for the owner. We may ask for more information to confirm your request. We aim to remove the photo from every page on GigGuide within 24 hours of receiving your request. We can't remove copies that search engines or other websites have already saved.
Corrections and complaints about content
If you think something on GigGuide is wrong, unfair or unlawful, or harms you or your business, tell us through our contact form with the page address and what is wrong. We will review it and let you know what we can do. You can send us legal notices the same way.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Some rights can't be taken away by any business's terms. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right, remedy or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or under any other law that can't be excluded. If anything in these terms seems to say otherwise, those rights come first.
Our responsibility
We work to keep GigGuide accurate and working well, but we don't run the events, sell the tickets or control other websites. So, to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for:
- events, experiences, tickets or bookings, or anything sellers, organisers, venues or other providers do or fail to do
- changes, postponements or cancellations
- mistakes in information that others give us
- other websites we link to, including their content, prices and privacy practices
We are responsible for loss caused by our own negligence, fraud or deliberate wrongdoing, and nothing in these terms limits that. This section doesn't limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Advertising enquiries
Sending an enquiry through our advertise page doesn't create an agreement. If we agree to advertise anything for you, that arrangement will have its own written terms.
Location data
Location data credited to Google Maps is subject to the Google Maps terms of service. OpenStreetMap data is available under the Open Database Licence.
Changes to the site and these terms
GigGuide will change over time, and we may update these terms, for example when the site or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when we last updated them. Changes apply from the date we publish them and don't affect anything that happened before then.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia. A dispute about them can go to any Australian court or tribunal that has the power to hear it. This doesn't take away any protection you have under the law where you live.
If a court decides that part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest of the terms still apply.
